Last Friday we had our Christmas lunch.
We ate mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, beans, carrots, turkey, broccoli and sausages with star-shaped ice-cream for pudding.
5 people in our class did not have it so they had their pack lunch in the canteen too.
11 tables were put out. The Dinner ladies all had hats on.
The teachers had their lunch after us.
Lunch was even better than usual!! Well done Gail and ladies!!!

We made the cards by cutting cardboard in half then cutting a shape out of the cardboard. Then we turned them round and glued them on
On Thursday 11th of December P1-3 had a concert.
The concert was called the Inn Keeper’s Breakfast .
On Tuesday 9th of December P4-7 watched their
Dress rehearsal. It was the first time P1-3 were in their costumes .
On Thursday P4-7 sang 7 songs. P4 sang a Gaelic carol and the Choir
Sang Carol of the bells.

On Friday 28th November
the whole school celebrated St Andrews Day.
Everyone wore tartan. Mrs Thomson had a tartan shawl.
As everyone went into the hall, Callum in Primary 6 and Rebecca in Primary 7 played the bagpipes.
Everyone sat around the sides to watch the performers

On Friday 28th November the whole school
gathered in the school hall for our mini St Andrews day.
Ewan and Molly in primary 7 played the fiddle, playing
Loch Lomond, Baraburn Reel and Harvest Home
Emma (that’s me) played the accordion. Abbie and Freya sang a Gaelic song.
After the whole school lined up for strip the willow and Mr Rodger played the bagpipes for 20 minutes without stopping!
We all enjoyed it.

On Friday 28th of November 2008
the whole School went to the hall to celebrate St Andrew’s day.
We went to the hall at 9.15 am to 10.45 am.
We saw highland dancing and we listened to the accordion, fiddles and the bagpipes. We were dancing the Orcadian strip the willow.
When we were finished we went back to the class and had Scottish short-bread and IRN –BRU.
We really liked it and the dancing was good fun.

On Friday 28th November the whole school celebrated St
Andrew’s day. Everybody wore something tartan to school Just before playtime the whole school danced the Orcadian strip the willow. It is a dance which comes from Orkney and everyone from Primary 1 to Primary 7joined in.
Mr Rodger played the bag pipes for twenty minutes for the whole Orcadian strip the willow.
After we had done the dance Mr Rodger was very puffed out!!!!
