Primary 4’s topic
Primary 4’s topic this term is the Vikings. They lived hundreds of years ago. We learnt how to write in Viking runes and things like settlements, their clothing, their lifestyle and we played some Viking games. We really liked our topic.
By Rowan and Aurora.
Primary’s 4 and 5 are doing a play called the Pinafore Pirates. It is on Thursday 26 of March, and starts at 7pm and it costs £1:50 for concession and £3:00 for adult. It takes place in Strathpeffer primary school hall. It should be on for about 3 quarters of an hour. We got to try on our costumes on the 19th of March.
We hope you come.

On Wednesday the 18th March, Meg, Chloe, Lucyanne, Tara, Catriona and Nikita went to the Music Festival in Inverness. We went on a Spa Coach bus. We travelled to pick up Mrs Farmer our strings teacher and the rest of our strings group. From there we drove to Eden Court in Inverness. We were the second group to play out of three. The first group played the theme tune of James Bond then we were the next strings group. The tune we played was called Scottish Medly .Number 2 was the Walking in the air tune from the film the snowman.
We were second!! We were all very pleased!! Thanks to Mrs Farmer for helping us.

My new baby brother was born on Monday 23rd of February in Raigmore Hospital.
He is called Kayden and he weighed 10lbs 9oz. He now weighs 11lbs 2oz!!
He is a good baby though he cries a lot. Mum brought him to school to show my class and Primary 5 saw him too, because we were all practising for our show.

Jordan’s mum challenged him to keep quite for ten minutes.
Jordan managed this (to everyone’s surprise!) and he raised £10 for Red Nose Day.
Mrts Thomson thinks that’s a good idea for all of Primary 4!!

For World Book Day we had to bring in photos of people doing extreme reading.
